For many computer science college students, finding their first software engineering job is a significant hurdle. Starting out, a job search can be overwhelming as it often involves applying to job postings, networking, preparing for interviews, and more. Recognizing this, we want to optimize this initial yet crucial step in a software engineer’s career.
To assist students, Cullen Watson and I have compiled a comprehensive list of software engineering internships and new graduate positions. This curated list, available as a GitHub repository, focuses on opportunities both in the United States and internationally. We aim to provide a consolidated, easy-to-access resource for college students looking for that all-important first job in software engineering.
It is worth mentioning that most of the postings are compatible with the SpeedyApply chrome extension allowing you to quickly fill out each application. Additionally, you can use the extension to track your progress as you work your way through the list.
We understand that this list is not exhaustive, and we welcome contributions from the community. If you know of any job opportunities that should be included, or if you encounter any issues with the current postings, we encourage you to contribute to the repository by opening an issue.
